Master Philosophy and Political Science

In the Master's program in Political Science and Philosophy (MaPP), central societal questions are at the heart of the education. The program imparts both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for analyzing complex problems from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Particular emphasis is placed on this interdisciplinarity: you will learn to connect philosophical considerations with political analysis, thereby developing new approaches to solutions. Furthermore, incorporating international topics fosters a deep intercultural understanding.

„In the MaPP program, I've found exactly what I always felt was missing from my Bachelor's degree: an exploration of the intersections between Philosophy and Political Science—and all of this from an interdisciplinary viewpoint.“

„It's a good sign that I still talk about some of those seminars regularly, right? There were definitely a few topics and discussions that inspired me so much that they still stick with me today. I liked the TU, the courses, and the vibe. Good times!“

The MaPP is also characterized by its practice-oriented approach. You will have the opportunity to carry out independent projects as well as participate in project simulations within a seminar. This not only enhances your research competence but also strengthens your practical skills.

Individual support plays a central role in the MaPP. Small seminar groups facilitate intensive exchanges between students and instructors. This ensures that you receive optimal support on your path into the professional world.
